• (Martin County, FL) - October 27, 2015  Florida Arts and Dance Company (FADC) announced today that Keith Begley, owner of Albert g, Inc., Home Accessories has joined its Board of Directors. As a resident of Martin County for 25 years, Keith has demonstrated his commitment to philanthropic efforts and taken on a leadership role in various cultural, educational and healthcare related organizations on the Treasure Coast.

    Begley’s experience spans over a decade and includes serving on several boards as well as membership and active participation in others. He was a founding board member and executive director of the Community AIDS Advocate Project that was founded in 1993, and served on the board until 1995. He was also a founding board member of the Martin County Healthy Start Coalition. Currently, he’s a member of the Martin County Democratic Club and a board member of the Children’s Home Society. His efforts to better our community have not gone unrecognized, as Keith was the recipient of the 1993 Maxwell House Real Hero Award and the Herbert Von King Community Award.

    “We are very excited to welcome Keith to our board. He will be chairing our Nutcracker committee this year, working on sponsorships and helping to secure silent auction items among other duties,” said Joann Gallagher, FADC Board President. Keith has earned a reputation in the community for his tireless work for those less fortunate; each year for the last 18, he’s hosted “Keith’s Annual Holiday Open House” which supports the United Way White Doves Holiday Project and collects hundreds of toys for children in need.
