Martin County, FL – Florida Arts & Dance Company (FADC), Martin County’s only not for profit dance studio welcomes Sergey Sidorsky and Russian Ballet Orlando as guest artists for their annual production of The Nutcracker.  FADC students, Russian Ballet Orlando and Sidorsky will perform Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12 at 7:00 pm at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart.

Sidorsky, 34, is a native of Kiev and began dancing professionally at age 9. He has performed as a principal artist in dozens of productions across Europe and Australia.

Now in its 19th year of performing the Lyric, FADC is known for delighting audiences with sweet ensembles of dancing candy canes and marzipan.

FADC does extensive community outreach providing dance instruction to area pre-schools and to those with special needs. “Dance provides an amazing opportunity for expression.” said Joann Gallagher, FADC president. “If someone wants to dance, we want to help them fulfill that desire.”

FADC relies on corporate and community donations to continue its mission and provide scholarships to students in need.
