It is our pleasure to introduce you to the people whose efforts drive the company towards its goal of enhancing the cultural awareness of the community through world-class dance education, training and performance opportunities
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR-Genevieve La Gratta
Now in her 10th year with FADC and in her 4th year as Executive Director, Gen has over 30 years of business and dance education experience. Her vision has resulted in expanded programming for special needs children, continued arts education and increased performance opportunities for our students.
BALLET DIRECTOR -Loretta Miller
Loretta Miller, former soloist of The Boston Ballet joins FADC after a professional career spanning more than 20 years as a dancer, teacher, private coach and choreographer. Loretta began her training at the age of seven in Tidewater, VA. From the ages of 13 to 16 she won scholarships to the prestigious School of American Ballet in New York. While studying there she was selected by Barbara Weisberger to join the Pennsylvania Ballet. Two years later she received an offer from E.V. Williams and Violette Verdy to join The Boston Ballet. She traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia with the Stars of the Boston Ballet and Rudolf Nureyev. She performed many soloist and principal roles most notably "The Queen of the Dryads" in Don Q, the "Solo Girl" in Balanchine's Rubies and Choleric in his Four Temperaments. She created the role of "Fate" in Choo San Gohs Romeo and Juliet to critical acclaim. Loretta was a guest artist throughout Europe, Asia and the United States performing such roles as "The Sugar Plum Fairy" and "The Snow Queen" in The Nutcracker, "Swanhilda" in Coppelia, The Tchaikovsky pas de deux, Afternoon of a Faun and the role of "Mryta Queen of the Willies" in Giselle with Fernando Bujones to whom she dedicates this years FADC Nutcracker performance. She has held faculty positions at Steps and The Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Santa Fe Community College and University of Florida. She is thrilled to be able to give back to our community this great art form that she loves so completely.
  JAZZ INSTRUCTOR-Tasha Patterson
Tasha's life has been dedicated tosharing the gift of movement. While always staying committed to her professional career in dance, her training led to her own healing and journeys into massage, yoga, nutrition and meditation. Tasha has taught dance globally, residing in Asia for over ten years. Tasha has choreographed to Kokoro Dance Company, Namie Amuro, X-pose as well as various musicals, commercials and videos. Tasha has danced with Salt'N Pepa, Southern All Stars, Smap; various music videos; commercials and stage productions. Her passion and dedication have continued to be bringing the world of dance and movement to all.
  IRISH STEP- Maureen Armstrong
Performed Irish dance at Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, NY. Adjudicator of Irish Dance Competitions throughout North America. Her students have successfully qualified to compete at the World Championships in Irish Dance held in Ireland.
 

Beth McKenzie-Shestah
Beth has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) along with 8 years of jazz, ballet (Russian), tap and lyrical training at the Dance Factory in Stuart, Florida.  Beth has also completed three years of Master Classes for Acting at the Burt Reynolds Institute in WPB, Fl and has 15 years of vocal training in Florida, Pennsylvania and New York.  She has directed for Little Mammoth Productions in Philadelphia and choreographed for FayMac Productions, Cummings Productions and Shiloh Theatrical Productions.
