(Stuart, FL) -  Florida Arts & Dance Company (FADC) is pleased to announce it has received a $6,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The funds will support the studio’s annual production of The Nutcracker.

“We are so grateful for the support of the Community Foundation. Our annual production of The Nutcracker is a holiday tradition for our community and has delighted audiences of all ages on the Treasure Coast for more than 20 years.” said FADC President Joann Gallagher.

Every year FADC dancers and volunteers of all ages and abilities participate in The Nutcracker. Some dancers have been performing in the production for ten or more years, starting as baby mice and later becoming waltzing snowflakes. The performances will take place at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart, December 14-16. Auditions are scheduled for August 18. To learn more, call: 772-288-4150.
